Eligibility Criteria for VFF

CEP seeks Fellows who hold an advanced degree from a Western-accredited university in one of the following areas:

  • Anthropology
  • History
  • Area/Regional Studies
  • Law
  • Economics
  • Media Studies/Journalism
  • Environmental Studies
  • Political Science/International Relations
  • European Studies
  • Public Administration/Public Policy
  • Gender Studies
  • Sociology

To be eligible for a Visiting Faculty Fellowship, you must:

  • hold at least a master’s degree in one of the above fields
  • have experience teaching or be interested in a teaching career
  • be fluent and able to conduct classes in English
  • have a desire to participate in the dynamic changes taking place in the region
  • be flexible, motivated, self-directed, and in good health

Please note that applicants cannot receive Visiting Faculty Fellowships to teach in their home countries. If you are interested in teaching in your home country, please consider applying instead for the Local Faculty Fellowship Program.
